About this calculator

What it does

You build a delivery out of packages, tell us where it goes, and we price it. Every delivery starts at a base price for its zone. The first 10 kg is included in that base price, and every kilogram above it adds a charge. The first 10 km is included as well, and every kilometre above it adds a charge. Large orders get a discount off the total.

Packages and sizes

A package is charged on whichever is greater, what it weighs or what its size allows for. A big light box takes the same room on the van as a heavy one, so the size allowance is what pays for the space. The delivery is charged on the packages added together.

The three steps

On the first page you add each package: what is in it, what it weighs and how big it is. Every package gets a row, and each row has a Remove button. The line under the list is what the whole delivery is charged on.

The second page takes the distance and the zone, and prices the delivery. The calculator accepts decimal weights and distances, and returns the same price every time for the same delivery.

The third page reads the order back to you one last time. Confirm order gives you an order reference and empties the delivery.

The delivery lives in this browser, so it is still there when you come back to the site.
